FRACTIONS EP LAUNCH AT THE ZOO
Having just completed recording their debut self titled EP, Fractions will be back at the Zoo again to launch their new EP on the 9th of January. The Lovebuckles and The Levons will be the support bands for the night. You can pick up the new EP at our merchandise desk at the show.

HAMISH CAMILLERI
Position: Keyboardist/Synth Player.
Experience: Started out on the keyboard at a young age, then played the piano throughout high school. Now been playing the synthesizer for 7 or so years.
Favourite Bands: Muse, Radiohead, Ben Folds Five, Klaxons, Bloc Party.
Favourite Key Players: Colin Greenwood, Ben Folds, Matt Bellamy.
FRACTIONS
Formed: 2008.
Genre: Indie Electro Rock.
Info: Fractions is a 5 piece electro-rock band based in Brisbane, Australia. The boys hail from the country origins of Rockhampton and Tenterfield which has contributed to the grittier rock elements of their music.
Influences: Muse, Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, Klaxons, Bloc Party.
FARON CAMILLERI
Position: Bassist.
Experience: Been playing the bass for about 15 years & used to play in the Brisbane band 'Tyneside'.
Favourite Bands: Thrice, The Smashing Pumpkins, Bloc Party, Foo Fighters, Muse, Midnight Juggernauts.
Favourite Bassists: Dirk Lance (Incubus), Flea (RHCP), Les Claypool (Primus).
JOLEN CAMILLERI
Position: Drummer.
Experience: Been playing the drums for about 20 years & used to play in the Brisbane band 'Tyneside'.
Favourite Bands: Muse, Bloc Party, Foo Fighters, MuteMath, Foals, Royal Blood.
Favourite Drummers: Travis Dempsey (Living End), Dominic Howard (Muse).
TIM BATEMAN
Position: Singer.
Experience: Started singing at the end of high school & used to sing in the band 'The Rocks Affair'.
Favourite Bands: Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Favourite Singers: Brandon Boyd (Incubus), Anthony Kiedis (Red Hot Chili Peppers).
ADAM SMITH
Position: Guitarist.
Experience: Started playing the guitar in old cover bands.
Favourite Bands: Royal Blood, Foals, Kings of Leon, Bloc Party, Muse.
Favourite Guitarists: Matt Bellamy (Muse), Russell Lissack (Bloc Party).
